Working principle

The voltage regulator is an autotransformer with continuously adjustable turns ratio. When the handwheel is turned, it slides on the polished surface of the coil with the help of movable brushes to change the turns ratio, so that the output voltage can be adjusted smoothly from zero to the maximum value.

Operating environment

Ambient temperature: Maximum temperature +40℃, minimum temperature -5℃.

Altitude: the altitude of the installation site of the regulator does not exceed 1000 meters above sea level.

Air relative humidity: the monthly relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, while the average temperature of the month is 25℃.

Power supply voltage waveform: the power supply voltage waveform is sinusoidal or nearly sinusoidal.

The installation place is free from gas, vapor, chemical deposition, dust, masonry and other explosive and erosive media that seriously affect the insulation of the regulator.
